Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a good week so far! Just a few updates.
C Period- We are discussing the interwar period. We started discussing the rise of Hitler today. This should take us through the rest of the week. You will be getting the rough drafts of your research papers back on Friday. Final drafts will be due soon. Also, your creative project on trench warfare is due on Friday, May 18th.

F Period- We wrapped up Imperialism today and will start WWI tomorrow. Don't forget your Gandhi writing assignment is due May 18th.
G Period- This week we are watching Glory. We are also getting close to the end of the Civil War. Don't forget your Ch. 11 homework is due on Friday, May 18th.

May Madness
We are in the thick of May now! Can't believe it! Remember to continue to work hard! We are almost to summer!
C Period- Today we looked at trench warfare in the movie War Horse. Tomorrow we will discuss how WWI was won. Wednesday we will look at the cost if the war. Thursday and Friday we will discuss the Russian Revolution. Your WWI project will be due on May 18th. Finally your research papers will come back to you this week. These will be due soon!

4/30-5/4
Hi Everyone! I can't believe tomorrow is May! So exciting! Please know that mid-term is approaching for 4th term. Make sure you are doing everything you can to end the year on a positive note! Here is your update for the week.
C,D,and E Period- Today we finished up Imperialism discussing Imperialism in China. Tomorrow you will have a quick quiz to wrap this unit up. You will also be starting WWI tomorrow!! I am excited for this unit! Don't forget that your Gandhi writing assignment is due Friday, 5/4. Don't forget the extra credit challenge!
F Period- Today we started Imperialism. We discussed what imperialism is and what the European motives for imperialism were. Tomorrow we will continue discussing motives. We will finish the week discussing Imperialism in Africa. You got homework today for Ch. 24 Sec. 1. This is due on Wednesday. You will also have another homework assignment this week. It will be due on Friday. Be prepared for a quick quiz on Friday.
G Period- Today we wrapped up Ch. 10 Sec. 4. Tomorrow we will review and then Wednesday we will test. Thursday is the day! We are starting the Civil War!

I hope you all had an enjoyable and restful week off! I can't believe we only have 36 days of school left!! Remember to stay focused and on track! Here is your update for the week!
C Period- We reviewed Imperialism on Monday and started Imperialism in India. We will discuss the details of imperialism in India tomorrow. The next couple of days we are going to focus on Gandhi and his work. You will be given a, dare I say fun, writing assignment on Tuesday to go along with Gandhi. Monday night you need to complete the 24-4 Bookwork and the map of India. Friday you will have homework due for section 4 and 5 from ch. 24. You are also going to have a quiz on these sections on Friday.

April Week 2
Hi Folks-
Report Cards for Term 3 went home on Thursday. This week we have a half day on Wednesday and then April Vacation starts on Friday. Here is the break down for each class this week.
C, D, and E Period- We will finish discussing Imperial Motives on Monday. Monday night you need to complete the Ch. 24-2 Bookwork for homework. It will be due on Tuesday. Tuesday and Wednesday we will discuss the Partition of Africa. Thursday we will move on to Imperialism in the Middle East. We will briefly discuss the Suez Canal. Friday your homework for Ch. 24 Sec. 2 and 3 will be due. You will also have a quiz on Imperial Motives and Imperialism in Africa and the Middle East.
F Period- We will finish discussing the changes the Industrial Revolution brought on Monday. Tuesday you will work on the 21-3 Bookwork. This will be due on Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday we will discuss the Art of the Industrial Revolution. Friday you will have a Test on the Industrial Revolution.
G Period- We will start discussing the Union in Peril on Monday. This should take us through the rest of the week. Friday you will have a short quiz on the material we discussed.

The Start of New Imperialism
Hi Folks! 3 down...1 to go! The longest part of the year is behind you. Remember, we still have a term to go AND the Final will be worth 20% of your final grade. Keep plugging away!
